Health check from the neck up


During this world wide corona pandemic there has been many changes happening all around us, in the way we live our life, in the way we interact, in the way we do business the way we travel, the way we socialize, this can cause us anxiety and stress.

How do we stay sane amidst all the insanity around us


Step 1 Acknowledge its normal to  feel that way

We have to acknowledge that it is normal to be  anxious or insane during this time. Consciously look at what you allow your thoughts to dwell on.  Proverbs 4; 23-27 teaches us that what we allow our hearts to dwell on is what we become therefore amid all this negativity we should consciously   build positive and hopeful thoughts.

Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it
Consciously look at what you allow your thoughts to dwell on. Be positive and hopeful


24 Keep your mouth free of perversity;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
Refrain from Negative talk, or propaganda


   Let your eyes look straight ahead  fix your gaze directly before you Decide on what you want   and go for it.
  Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways


Be intentional in working to achieve your goals, late nights, early mornings do whatever it takes to make it.
 Do not turn to the right or to the left keep your foot from evil. Do not waiver you can make it. Do not be discourage and never give up.


Step 2 – Have an emotional /feeling inventory

Understand what you are feeling and manage it. Keep a record of what you are feeling in order to capitalize on positive emotions , control negative emotions


Step 3 -: Manage your Emotional currency

Emotional enhancers add to your emotional currency things that add to our joy. These are positive thoughts, positive interactions etc they leave you feeling good.

Emotional depleters takeaway from your emotional currency this are things that take away our joy. These can be negative thoughts, stress , negative interactions etc they leave us feeling bad.

It is important to control this things to avoid emotional depleters and seek to have more emotional enhancers. Replace negative thoughts with positive  thoughts, negative truths with positive affirmations

Step 4 – Manage your Emotional Distress / deficit

When you have an emotional distress meaning that the negative emotional currency is more that the positive emotional currency it leaves you feeling bad, stressed. Always try the different positive methods of   emotional stress relieve such as, exercising, sleeping, playing music, games etc.


Food for thought

During this time  of the corona virus pandemic  we have more time to decide on what we want in our life and our business and to put it into action, Remember to dwell on positive thoughts  because

If you sow a thought you reap a deed.

If you sow a deed you reap a habit

If you sow a habit you reap a character

If you sow a Character you reap your destiny.
