Fundamental techniques in handling people

In Life as in Business it is important to know how to handle different people.  No man is an island, people are important to our development and growth. It does not matter if we are in school, in employment or running our own business we will need people to move ahead. It is important to learn how to influence people and create new friends and lasting the next month we will look at the lessons  taken from Dale Carnegie’s book HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE .

Lesson 1  Fundamental Techniques in handling people

  1. Don’t criticize, Condemn or Complain

Always try to understand people do not condemn them. Try figure out why they do what they do, that’s more profitable than criticism or condemnation. It breeds sympathy tolerance and kindness. To know all is to forgive all.

  1. Give Honest and sincere appreciation

Cease to think of  your accomplishments and wants but always try and and find out the other persons good points. Then forget flattery, give hearty and sincere appreciation. Be whole hearted in your approbation/ appreciation and lavish in your praise. People will cherish your words and repeat them over a lifetime.

  1. Arouse in the other person an eager want

See how to  arouse greatness in others, it is not about your goals and wants but about making others achieve theirs. When you have a brilliant idea instead of  making others  think its yours why not let them cook and stir the idea themselves,they will like it and think of it as their own. Thus the idea will be more prosperous.
